Lord, I am flummoxed. The attitude survey again shows a significant number of people dissatisfied with some important issues.
I have tried to address these issues. I have commissioned task groups to grapple with them, come up with suggestions which I have implemented. But still the needle has not moved significantly enough in a positive direction.
Help me not to be discouraged, cynical or angry. Make my negative feelings fuel something positive so that these people experience an environment that is more engaging and enabling.
Section 2, Scripture: PS 55:16-19
Hebrew Scripture | New Testament |
As for me, I call to God, and the Lord saves me. 17 Evening, morning and noon, I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. 18 He rescues me unharmed from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me. 19 God, who is enthroned from of old, who does not change— Psalm 55: 16-19

Refer to the song below by Pastor McClurkin |
Pastor Donnie McClurkin made a song some years ago called, “Stand.” And here are some of the words to that awesome and incredible song.
“What do you do.
When you’ve done all you can, and it seems like it’s never enough.
And what do you say when your friends turn away, and you’re all alone.
Tell me what do you give,
When you’ve given your all and it seems like you can’t make it through,
Well you just stand, when there’s nothing else to do,
You just stand, watch the Lord see you through,
Yes after you’ve done all you can, you just stand.” Quoted from True Life Expressions, July 9, 2012
Lord, I will reflect some more, I will listen more, I will continue to solve this.
Section 3
You may wish to be silent for a few minutes.
Section 4
In your own words, thoughts, speak to God.
